Abstract This paper reports the use of vacuum micro-evaporation plating technology for the production of industrial superhard material micro-powder plating. The main technical indicators of superhard materials (diamond, cubic boron nitride) coated with titanium and titanium alloy are: the finest particle size of the plated fine powder reaches 5μ (W5), no particle adhesion after plating, uniform coating and super hard particles Strong metallurgical combination, bright shiny metallic luster. Ultra-hard material micro-powder coated with titanium and titanium alloy has broad application prospects in various fine super-hard tool manufacturing and super-hard polycrystalline materials.
