The Economic Development Association further pointed out that in 2010 Taiwan's textile industry output value was NT$482.322 billion, a 28.7% increase from the 2009 output value of 374.796 billion yuan. The Ministry of Economic Affairs will continue to promote relevant measures and hopes to reach the goal of 580 billion yuan in the total output value of the textile industry in 2015.
