The performance of lithium-sulfur batteries is better than current lithium batteries, and the impact on the environment is also smaller than that of lithium-ion batteries. The research team pointed out that the prototype battery has been successfully manufactured by the German research and development partner Fraunhofer Institute for Materials and Beam Technology.
