How to measure the angle and length of the pressed elbow?
At present, in the pipeline engineering, the use of pressing elbows is very common, and most of the quality is passed, and there are also problems. For example, if the angle is not accurate and the length is different, it will often bring some difficulties to the installation work, and even cause waste of rework. Therefore, before construction, it is generally necessary to conduct actual measurement.
Pressing elbows with a nominal diameter of 150mm or less in the middle and low pressure, stand upright, sit on the wide side of the channel, place the short side of the square on the channel, and stick the long side on the other side of the elbow. And whether the lower wall is attached. If it is affixed, it means that the elbow is 90°; if there is one place, it means that the angle of the elbow is not accurate, so pay attention when calculating the material. The length of the elbow is obtained by aligning the vertical end of the right angle with the upper wall of the positive nozzle and subtracting the radius of the tube. It is also possible to place the elbows smoothly on the flat ground. The two straight sides of the square are respectively placed on the two nozzles of the elbow. If the inner and outer walls of the two nozzles are on the ruler, it means Elbow 90°; if there is only one place, it means that the angle of the elbow is not accurate.
When measuring the elbow above 200mm, place the elbow flat on a flat place, first use the level to find the verticality of the nozzle. Place the level on the upper and lower walls of the nozzle to center the bubble, at which point the nozzle is in a vertical position. Covered with wood chips or gravel. Use a powder line to bypass the back of the elbow (middle) and fold over the nozzles on both sides so that the inner and outer tube walls are attached to the powder line, and the two lines intersect. Use a square at right angles to stick to the powder line. If the powder lines on both sides are attached to the two right-angled sides, the angle is accurate; if one side is not attached, the angle is not accurate. The length of the elbow is obtained by subtracting the radius of the tube from the two intersections of the powder line to the outer wall of the nozzle.
High-pressure elbows require precision when installed, so be especially careful when measuring, and no errors are allowed. Place the high-pressure elbow flat on a flat surface and level it with a level. At the straight pipe of the elbow, find the center point of the straight pipe with a horizontal and vertical distance of 150 to 200 mm. The horizontal ruler is placed against the outer wall of the pipe. With the bubble in the middle position, align the level with the tape zero and mark the radius on the tube. Use the same method to measure the center point of the straight end of the other side of the elbow, and find two powder lines, which can be obtained by the center point and the angle and length of the elbow.

BOHONG SSCD Semi-Finished Dies are based on SSCD raw materials and are designed according to customer's hole requirements to achieve customer's quality standards for semi-finished products.
Feature:
-High surface finish.
-Reduces production processing cost and saves labor for customers.
SSCD dies are an ideal choice for the manufacture of fine wire and ultra-fine drawn wire. For each die, single crystal diamond dies have excellent quality, hardness, precision and longevity.
Dies Type:Semi finished ND Wire Drawing DIES
Available sizes:Can be customized according to client needs
Product application:mainly used in Wire with high requirement of finishing such as copper wire microfilament, enameled wire, multi drawing copper wire, tinning wire, etc.
BOHONG wire-drawing die blanks have excellent toughness, and high thermal conductivity, wear resistance and hardness. They are used to make wire from copper, aluminum, stainless steel and other alloy materials. Their service life is 100 to 300 times longer than that of the old-fashioned hard alloy wire-drawing dies. Wire drawn with diamond dies is very consistent, and fine in finish.
