With the project entering a substantive stage, the vision of Yunnan City Gas for the use of clean, high-efficiency natural gas will soon become a reality. Before June of next year, six branch line projects, including the Kunming East Branch and the West Branch, will be put into operation with the China-Myanmar trunk line. The province will complete the construction of 21 branch lines during the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period. Natural gas will formally enter thousands of households in Yunnan and gradually replace the artificial gas that is now commonly used by the public.

The six extension lines will be put into operation before June next year.

In the next year, six branch lines and 13 city gas projects will be completed and put into production. Before June of next year, the Kunming East Extension, Kunming West Extension, Tengchong, Shidian, Mangshi and Xiangyun 6 branch lines will be put into operation with the China-Myanmar trunk line. Among them, the Kunming East Branch project will pass through 10 counties and industrial parks, and the gas transmission scale will reach 903 million cubic meters/year; the Kunming West Branch project will pass through 5 counties and industrial parks, and the gas transmission scale will reach 686 million cubic meters/year. year.

In 2015, six feeder lines will be put into production, such as Ruili, Longling, Yongping, Nanhua, Midu, and Honghe. In 2017, 4 feeder lines will be put into operation, including Fumin, Malong, Zhaotong, and Handan, and the remaining 5 will be in The "V" period was completed and put into production. It is estimated that by 2020, the annual supply capacity of Yunnan natural gas pipeline network will reach 7 billion cubic meters, and Colorful Yunnan will truly enter the era of green energy.

The Kunming East and West branch project has now obtained approval from the Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and approval of the Kunlun headquarters feasibility study. Subsequently, gas projects in Dehong, Baoshan, Tengchong, Dali, Chuxiong, Lufeng, Anning, Yuxi, Honghe, Fumin, Xundian, and Mingming will also be promoted in an orderly manner.
