New fertilizer standards approved by the Ministry of Agriculture

Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture approved the release of the latest batch of agricultural industry standards. The “National Institute of Fertilizer Quality Supervision Supervision and Inspection Center (Beijing)” is responsible for the “Determination of fertilizer and soil conditioner organic matter content”, “Determination of fertilizer synergist dicyandiamide content,” “Determination of water-soluble fertilizer polyaspartic acid content,” and “ The four fertilizer standards such as water-soluble fertilizer cobalt and titanium content are listed.

The "Standard for the determination of organic matter in fertilizers and soil conditioners" has been proposed, and the test methods for related terms, organic matter classification, and the content of easily oxidizable organic matter, organic matter, total organic matter and ash content have been specified. The "Determination of Fertilizer Enhancer Dicyandiamide Content", "Determination of Water-Soluble Fertilizer Polyaspartic Acid Content" and "Standard for Determination of Water-Soluble Fertilizer Cobalt and Titanium Content" have changed the quantitative test of fertilizer synergist dicyandiamide. There is no uniform standard for the content of polyaspartic acid, cobalt and titanium in water-soluble fertilizers.

The promulgation of these four standards further improved China's fertilizer technical standards system. Its implementation will effectively improve the level of fertilizer management services, scientifically guide the production and application of fertilizers, and effectively promote the healthy and orderly development of the fertilizer industry. The standard will be implemented on April 1, 2016.
