The team used a high-speed camera and a high-efficiency drive to quickly detect the waist and leg movements of the robot with a high-speed camera of 600 frames per second. It is understood that the biped robot research to date is mostly based on the ZMP (Zero Moment Point) theory. That is, the center of gravity of the body must fall within the range of the sole of the foot, and the robot can walk stably. The research results provide a new technical approach for the development of biped walking robots beyond human capabilities.
