Capsule Pressure Gauge
Capsule pressure gauge is used to measure the pressure or negative pressure of various non-solidified or noncrytalline liquid media with certain corrosiveness. The corrosion resistance depends on the diaphragm materials. The instrument is composed of a measuring system(corrugated diaphragms), the drive indication mechanism(including a connecting rod.
a gear drive mechanism, pointers and a dial) and a housing(including a qauge case and a cover ring). The housing of the instrument is of leakproof structure with high tightness thus it can protect the inside from pollution. The working principle of the instrument is based on the deformation of elastic elements(diaphragms in the measuring system). Uhder the pressure of the tested media, the diaphragm responds with elastic deformation-displacement which is then magnified by the drive mechanism of the connecting rod unit. The pointer fixed to the gear will indicate the measured value on the dial.
