From June 12th to 13th, the China Aluminum Corporation's second-phase electrolytic cell management technology seminar hosted by China Aluminum Corporation and the Ministry of Science and Technology and hosted by Huaze Company was held at Huaze Company. More than 60 leaders including Wu Weicheng, vice chairman of China Aluminium Expert Consultation Committee, relevant departments of Chinalco headquarters, Zhengzhou Research Institute, Shenyang Aluminum Institute of China Aluminum, Guiyang Institute, and China Aluminum, attended the meeting.
Chinalco International and Lanzhou Branch introduced the new technology of “non-electricity open and stop slots for aluminum electrolyzer series†and “new electrolysis roasting start-up†respectively. Huaze Company, Guizhou Branch, Zunyi Aluminium, and China St. Aluminium etc. introduced the exchange management experience of the second-time electrolyzer. The delegates discussed in a group discussion on how to further reduce the power consumption of the secondary starting tank, increase the current efficiency, and extend the service life of the tank. After discussion, the meeting formulated the technical standards for the management of the electrolysis tanks at the later stage of secondary start-up, and determined the time and consumption levels for the secondary electrolyzers to be activated. The meeting will play a positive role in improving the quality of the second-phase start-up tank management and improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of electrolytic aluminum enterprises.
